Participatory Economics (PT2) - Does Central Planning Allow Worker Control? w/ Prof. Robin Hahnel

In this interview, Prof. Hahnel talks to After the Oligarchy about worker self-management in Participatory Economics, and whether worker self-management can be reconciled with central planning. In 1991, Robin Hahnel and Michael Albert proposed a vision of a democratically planned economy, neither market socialism nor central planning. Practical and principled in equal measure, Participatory Economics (Parecon) demands our attention. Robin Hahnel is a professor of economics and co-originator of Participatory Economics. He has authored many books, including Democratic Economic Planning, Of the People, By the People, Green Economics, Radical Political Economy, and ABCs of Political Economy.
